Who We Are
We are WOO, a dedicated nonprofit committed to empowering women and children in The Gambia. Our mission is to create opportunities for education, health, and economic independence, ensuring that every woman and child has the tools they need to thrive. We work closely with local communities to provide resources, support, and programs that promote gender equality, child development, and sustainable livelihoods. Through education, advocacy, and direct services, we strive to uplift and inspire the next generation of Gambian leaders while building a brighter future for all.

What We Do
WOO provides programs, resources and training to women seeking change in circumstances influenced by inequalities in wealth and quality of life for women. We also provide mentorship for women who seek to further their personal success. Lastly we raise awareness and support through our work in neighboring communities while ensuring that the youth are encouraged and inspired to be all they can be.
